Upon retiring from the FBI, J. Thomas Fox had a vision to form an investigative business that takes a progressive approach to the private investigation industry. J. Thomas Fox is a retired FBI Special Agent and a member of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI.  This membership enables us to provide our clients with collateral services in order to address their needs outside of the St. Louis, Missouri region.  J. Thomas Fox has established excellent contacts and maintains an outstanding reputation in the field of professional investigations.  This enhances our ability to obtain vital and timely information for our clients.

Steve Fox joined the company in 1998 after earning a Bachelors Degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice, obtaining law enforcement training, and spending several years with a national investigative company.  He has maintained a top secret clearance with the U.S. Government  to conduct contract work for the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security.  Steve has amassed thousands of surveillance hours and specializes in conducting background and fraud related investigations.
